Mainstreaming equity in the screen industry

I am a post-graduate candidate at AFTRS undertaking the Master of Arts Screen Business. It’s November and I am in the final delivery of the Enterprise & Innovation unit, which sets out a challenge for students to propose and test a new business model. I loved this unit because one can never stop learning about pitching. Life is a string of pitches anyway, and the screen industry even so. You’re constantly pitching an idea, a new script, a new film, a talent, a set designer. What then does a pitch comprise of if not for the WHY? I am no expert as I am still learning each day.

I spent two weeks researching and building this new business model to mainstream diversity, equity & inclusion in the screen industry. It’s not a new thing, but there are some new concepts I’d like to introduce, and you are invited along on this journey. I would also love to receive your comments on your thoughts and ideas.
